"The Fate of Ophelia"

I painted this after listening to “The Fate of Ophelia” by Taylor Swift.

I never thought of myself as a Swiftie, but these last years some of her songs have hit me deeply, like this one. The song speaks about that moment when you’re alone in the dark and someone, or something, pulls you back. It can be a friend, a partner, a family member, or even a dream, a passion, or something you love doing. An act of rescue, a reminder that you’re not lost: that’s what this painting is about.
