Getting There

"Getting There" reflects the progress that often goes unnoticed. Built from individually painted and stitched pieces of raw cotton canvas, the work suggests that meaningful growth rarely happens in a straight line. The checkerboard structure evokes movement, decisions and changing directions rather than a fixed destination. Some paths feel clear, others uncertain but, in the end, everything is like it is supposed to.
